Getting here
We're on the Midlands Meander, roughly [travel time] from [nearest city]. Detailed directions are sent with your booking confirmation — the last stretch is a farm road and the sign is easy to miss.
Arriving late
Tell us in advance and we'll leave the veranda light on, a note on the door and something cold in the fridge.

The questions we get most.
Do you take single nights? Usually yes midweek, but weekends and long weekends are two nights minimum. The booking site enforces this automatically, so if it lets you book one night, you're welcome.
Can we bring children? Children over [age] are welcome. The house is quiet and the garden is unfenced in places, so we ask parents to keep an eye on the gully.
Can we bring a dog? By arrangement, in the Garden Room only. Please ask before you book rather than after.
Is breakfast included? Yes, in every room, served 7 to 9:30. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free are all easy with a day's notice.
Do you do dinner? Not formally. There's an honesty bar, a braai and a fire pit, and we'll happily point you at the two restaurants nearby worth the drive.
Is there parking? Yes, off-street and behind the gate, at no charge.
